Job Description
AmeriCare is urgently seeking a dedicated and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care for a pediatric patient in Jonesboro, GA. This is a kiddo requiring a nurse with strong clinical skills, consistency, and a compassionate approach. Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home setting.
- Monitor and manage seizure activity, ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Provide total care to a wheelchair-bound, completely dependent patient.
- Administer medications and manage prescribed treatments per care plan.
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with the care team.
- Educate and support the family regarding the patient’s care and condition.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols strictly.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia (required)
- Current CPR certification
- Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
