Kindred Hospital Tarrant County Southwest is a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital specializing in the treatment of patients recovering from post-intensive care and medically complex conditions. Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff. The Seasonal Staffing program provides a temporary opportunity to work a minimum of 36 hours per week for a 12-week commitment period at a Seasonal Agreement rate of pay. Employee status during this period will be Per Diem and ineligible for benefits.

Requirements
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse
BCLS certification (BLS)
ACLS preferred
Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
Minimum six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
Basic computer knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition
