About this role
The Director of Restorative & Respiratory Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the facility's Restorative Nursing and Respiratory Care programs. This Registered Nurse provides clinical leadership to ensure residents achieve and maintain their highest practicable level of function while receiving safe, evidence-based respiratory care. The position oversees restorative nursing services, respiratory program coordination, staff education, quality assurance, equipment oversight, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary care planning.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of restorative nursing principles
- Knowledge of respiratory disease processes and oxygen therapy commonly encountered in long-term care
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Two (2) years of nursing experience (preferred)
- Long-term care experience (preferred)
- Supervisory or management experience (preferred)
