The Perinatal Transport Staff Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate nursing care to the high risk or critically ill patient during transport. Acts as a team leader on maternal fetal transports and supports a teamwork philosophy.

Requirements

Associate's Degree ADN Required (or Bachelor's Degree BSN Preferred)
3-5 years experience Level III Maternal Care experience; high risk obstetrical care
RN License - MO, KS, or Compact license required upon hire
Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population Required 1 Year
Drug screen upon hire
Seasonal influenza vaccine required as condition of employment
Immunization records/proof of vaccination (MMR, varicella, Tdap)
