As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, following established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will assess patient conditions, perform ordered procedures, administer medications, educate patients and families, and act as a patient advocate.
Requirements
Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license held)
Nursing Diploma or ASN/ADN required, BSN preferred
Previous experience in acute care setting strongly preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
