Weiser Memorial Hospital-rated as one of Idaho's 2026 best places to work-is looking to hire an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team part-time. The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Determines priorities of care based on the physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Can triage safely, rapidly, and accurately every patient that enters the emergency care system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patients' status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Three (3) years registered nurse experience within the last 48 months
Two (2) years of critical care or emergency nursing experience preferred
Current Registered Nurse license within the state of Idaho
Current BLS Certification
ACLS certified upon hire recommended; obtained within six (6) months of hire required
PALS certified upon hire recommended; obtained within eight (8) months of hire required
NRP recommended within twelve (12) months of hire
