Building Location: Park Rapids Clinic Department: 3251470 EAR NOSE AND THROAT - PRK Job Description: Essentia Health Park Rapids is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Specialty Clinics team. In this role, you’ll pick up open shifts in our ENT Clinic and other specialty practices based on the needs of the clinics and your availability, contributing to high-quality, personalized patient care. Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting with various procedures, and partnering with internal and external teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Two Saturday shifts every six months (8:00 am–12:00 pm) are required. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category. CMA: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts. BOTH: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
