Clinical Nurse I vacancy open to candidates with 0-1 years of RN work experience at Maine Medical Center. P6 (Pavilion 6) is the 21 bed Inpatient Medical Psychiatry unit serving an increasingly medically complex population with a particular emphasis on Geriatric Psychiatry. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care. Full-time nights position.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine
Entry-level position, RN experience not required
Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
Basic knowledge of nursing research, theory, practices, principles, and processes
Interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical ability to identify changes in patients' conditions
