Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) to join the team. This role will be part-time; days & shifts may vary based on department needs. 3-4 weekend night shifts every 8-week period & 1 holiday shift per year required. Travel is expected to any Inova FACT location (Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Loudoun Hospital (Cornwall), and Inova Willow Oaks (Dunn Loring) + any Inova ED).

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree (with BSN completion plan if Associate's)
6 months of RN experience
BLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association required
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
Previous experience in forensic nursing (preferred)
Completion of Adult and Pediatric SANE training within 30 days of hire (preferred)
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
Ability to travel to any Inova FACT locations
