Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 8-Week Contract. Location: Opelousas, LA 70570. Facility Size: 50–149 Beds. EMR: Cerner. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for an 8-week travel/contract assignment. Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Contract Length: 8 Weeks.
Schedule:
36 Hours per Week (3 x 12-hour shifts). Pay Rate: $54/hour. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients; monitoring maternal and fetal well-being; assisting physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency obstetric procedures; administering medications and treatments; educating patients and families; documenting patient care using Cerner EMR; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Louisiana or Compact License)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Previous Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
