We are currently completing the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) licensing process and are seeking a Virginia-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) who is interested in serving as a part-time Contract RN Supervisor .

This is an opportunity to work with a growing home care organization in a flexible role with limited hours, particularly during the initial startup and licensing phase.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated RN Supervisor for GiGi’s Home Care LLC.
  • Assist with clinical aspects of the agency’s VDH licensing and startup process.
  • Review and provide clinical oversight of client care plans as required.
  • Provide nursing guidance and consultation within the scope of Virginia regulations.
  • Conduct supervisory/client visits as required.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable VDH requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator regarding client care and quality assurance.
  • Provide guidance regarding caregiver training and client safety when applicable.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Virginia RN license or valid multistate/Compact RN license allowing practice in Virginia.
  • Previous home care, home health, hospice, long-term care, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Professional, dependable, and compassionate.
  • Willingness to complete a criminal background check.
  • Willingness to verify RN licensure and professional credentials.

Schedule

Part-time / Flexible

The anticipated workload is limited and will depend on the agency’s licensing and client census. This is intended to be a flexible opportunity for an RN who is interested in providing supervisory/consulting support rather than working traditional nursing shifts.

Compensation

Competitive contract compensation — negotiable based on experience and responsibilities.
