About this role

Allina Health is a not-for-profit health system that cares for individuals, families and communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Provides leadership in the surgical environment applying the nursing process to ensure safe and efficient operating room care. Principle Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs, maintaining education and competencies, incorporating evidence-based nursing practice, establishing measurable patient outcomes, coordinating and delegating care, and fulfilling organizational requirements. Supplemental roles include Charge Nurse and Preceptor.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Vocational degree
  • RN experience
  • Completion or in process of completing an approved Periop 101 program
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing
  • ACLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house within 60 days)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house within 30 days of hire)
  • CNOR Certified Nurse Operating Room preferred
  • Tier 1: Minimum 1+ year of current CVOR experience
