Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Requires flexibility for occasional overtime). Position
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Nursing Staff Coordinator to drive operational excellence within our nursing department. This vital role directly supports the Director of Nursing by managing healthcare personnel scheduling, handling medical office logistics, and providing supplemental floor care when required. Key
Responsibilities:
Manage staffing and payroll by creating employee schedules and fixing timecard errors. Ensure agency compliance by tracking staff credentials, training, and medical clearance. Handle resident coordination by scheduling dental visits and mailing family updates. Execute clerical and backup tasks including attendance tracking, CNA floor support, and meeting minutes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of clerical or medical office administration experience
- Must hold an active, unrestricted Hawaii Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Proficiency operating standard office computers and scheduling tools
- Ability to stand and walk short distances; capability to push, pull, or lift up to 20 pounds
