We are a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency looking for RNs with home health experience to provide care for our patients in their homes. With offices in Stuart, Boca Raton, and Plantation, we serve patients in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties. Our RNs perform starts-of-care, resumptions-of-care, re-certifications, and discharges.
The ideal candidate has a valid RN license, current certification in CPR, and experience working in home health. In addition, candidates must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance and must provide proof of the required health/background checks and training. Our RNs are competitively paid per-diem and are actual employees of our company, not independent contractors. We carry workers’ compensation and liability insurance for their protection and we withhold taxes, which we send to the IRS.
Responsibilities
Conducts initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of the client's needs, including Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) assessments Performs starts-of-care, resumptions-of-care, re-certifications, and discharges Provides nursing care following established nursing service objectives and standards Responds to emergency situations Ensures that all safety and infection control practices are followed Observes and reports any changes in the client’s mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation to immediate supervisor Ensures that required documentation is complete in a timely manner and is in compliance with regulations and standards Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Current CPR card
- COMPASSION and a DESIRE TO HELP the elderly, the sick, and their families
- Experience in home healthcare required
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance
- Level 2 background check required
- Certificate from an Alzheimer’s 2-hour course
- Health Assessment Done within last 6 months (TB within 1 year)
