MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is hiring a Clinical Nurse for the Surgical Specialties/Orthopedics (6 Main) unit. The newly renovated adult 30-bed unit provides exceptional post-operative care in a fast-paced environment. Common surgical procedures include joint replacement, spinal surgery, foot and/or ankle surgery, urological procedures, and reconstructive plastic surgery and wound management. The Clinical Nurse delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex, identifying current and potential complex problems and planning appropriate interventions.

Requirements

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required
Prior Hospital based Clinical Nursing Experience preferred
Active DC RN License required
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers required
