Full Time - Days. Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. Has principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, documentation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge process of each assigned patient to attain optimal health and continuity of care. The RN administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in keeping with the current clinical nursing practice. The RN is responsible for directing, monitoring, and evaluating care delegated to non-licensed personnel ensuring that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment. Cross-trains to all patient care departments to ensure adequate staffing levels.
