Manages patient care infusion encounters by utilizing a systematic approach to nursing practice that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary hematology/oncology care team members, along with internal and external ancillary partners, in a fast-paced environment. Dedicated to the growth and development of the Allina Health Cancer Institute, incorporating evidence-based practice initiatives that align with ONS, NCCN, COC, and organizational standards of care.

Requirements
Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing
1+ years of ambulatory oncology RN experience with proficient IV insertion skills; or 3+ years inpatient chemotherapy/biotherapy infusion or ICU experience
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
1+ years Peripheral IV Insertion skills (preferred)
1+ years Phlebotomy skills (preferred)
1+ years experience EPIC EMR, including Beacon application (preferred)
ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Provider Card required upon completion of Allina onboarding, within 30 days of hire
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation must be obtained within 3 years of hire (for those hired before April 1, 2024) or within 30 months (for those hired on/after April 1, 2024)
