We're seeking an experienced Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator/MDS Nurse to join our dedicated team in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. Competitive Salary: $41 - $45 HOURLY Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' conditions and develop comprehensive care plans to ensure optimal reimbursement Accurately and efficiently collect and submit Medicare/Medicaid data to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and healthcare professionals Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and care coordination Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or director of nursing Requirements: Current RN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing Current CPR certification 1-2 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator / Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator Good organization skills Experience with 3.0, PPS, and Case Mix Ability to pass license check, background check, and drug screen Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations Desire to work with the elderly
