What this might mean for you

This role comes through HealthYes Staffing Network, a staffing partner — assignment-style terms, so ask exactly which facility you'd land in. Per-diem means you set the rhythm — pick up when it works, step back when it doesn't.

About this role

Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op / Recovery. A premier medical facility in Queens, NY is seeking a dedicated, full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their clinical team. This is a collaborative, permanent position focusing primarily on pre-operative care with supportive multidisciplinary staff. Work primarily in the pre-operative area preparing patients for procedures. Assist in the recovery area approximately once or twice per month, monitoring patients during post-operative recovery. Provide language translation services to patients as needed. Maintain accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and collaborate with surgical and support staff.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
  • Fluency in Russian (required)
  • Georgian and Uzbek language skills (highly preferred)

Benefits

  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Paid holidays
  • Retirement savings plan options
  • Professional growth and continuing education support
  • Overtime compensated at time-and-a-half

What reviewers appreciate

  • Outpatient FNP primary care in Flushing/Queens spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Full-time or part-time flexible schedules with immediate Mandarin-speaking openings
  • Predicted Queens FNP base range about $146,000–$208,000

What reviewers flag

  • HealthYes is a staffing firm based in Georgia, not the Queens care site itself
  • Queens FNP pay is a predicted estimate, not a guaranteed posted rate
  • Role requires Mandarin fluency and at least two years of clinical experience

Benefits: Queens FNP path cites competitive pay, PTO, and CME support; another employer posting lists full benefits, PTO, CME reimbursement, and retirement plan with employer match. A $40K sign-on and relocation bonus appears in one snippet for a three-year contract (role unspecified).
